Growing up is a wild ride, filled with highs and lows. Life can be full of opportunities, but it can also be confusing and overwhelming, leading to struggles with emotions, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. These challenges are a normal part of figuring out who you are, but it can be hard to know where to turn when things get tough. While friends and family care, they might not have the right tools to help you manage your mental health. That’s where our adventure therapy program comes in, using the great outdoors to help you connect with yourself and your emotions. In a calming natural environment, you can learn new ways to handle your feelings through fun and engaging activities, supporting your overall development and mental well-being.

Can Therapy Help

Therapy can be incredibly beneficial, especially when combined with the great outdoors. Our adventure therapy program offers a unique way to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a supportive environment. Spending time in nature has a calming effect, helping you manage emotions and find balance. In our program, you can gain insight into your emotions and behaviors, develop coping skills, improve relationships, and build self-esteem, all while engaging in outdoor activities. This nurturing space allows you to explore your inner world, develop new skills, and work towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.

How Does it Work

Imagine exploring the great outdoors—hiking scenic trails, paddling down rivers, stargazing, and cooking trail dinners—while reflecting on your challenges and strengths with peers and supportive adults. These activities help you connect with yourself, others, and nature, boosting your mood and promoting mindfulness. Physical activity and time in nature improve well-being and enhance the effectiveness of therapy. Our adventure includes team-building exercises, creative arts therapy, mindfulness, and regulation tools like breathing exercises and emotional identification. You'll also explore your values, set SMART goals, and develop decision-making skills. Join us for a fun, transformative adventure where you'll grow, learn, and connect in exciting new ways!

How Long Does it Take

The Expedition lasts 5 days and is designed to be an exciting and transformative experience. About a month before, you'll begin preparing through group and individual Adventure Therapy (5 to 10 hours per week), connecting with our team and other participants, familiarizing yourself with activities, equipment, and setting goals. After the Expedition, you'll have an additional month of support to reflect and integrate what you've learned, ensuring you continue to benefit from the skills and insights gained.
